I thought coconut oil is an anti-fungal?Updated 3 months ago

True, but not all fungi are created equal.

Some fungal species get wiped out by coconut oil. Others (like malassezia that cause dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis) are actually strengthened by it.

Fortunately, MCT oil made from coconuts is amazing for dandruff relief, as long as it has the fungus-feed lauric acid removed, which makes up 50% of coconut oil. You can learn more about safe vs. unsafe oils for seborrheic dermatitis at dermazen.co/oils.
